This Sunday's Worship Materials can be found in the "Featured Sermon" below. We meet in person at Harper Park Middle School, and the service is also livestreamed on our YouTube channel.

Heart Prep for Sunday, March 24th

Thanks to everyone who continues to pray for and provide for Joanne.  She is doing much better, and she can “try” to start walking with a boot this week.  Please pray that goes well.

This Sunday we come to another one of many teachings of Jesus, that, truth be told, we would probably rather not hear, and largely don’t understand.  We will be back in another part of the Sermon on the Mount, and we come to Jesus’ command not to be anxious.  Three times He says, “do not be anxious …”  Quick question?  Who wants to be anxious?  Many of us are, but most of us don’t want to be, so why does Jesus give us this command?  What does He want us to do about it?  And what does anxiety have to do with trust?  Those are the questions we’ll be considering this Sunday.

We’re continuing our series on the life of Christ, Walking with Jesus: A Year with the Savior.  We’re in Matthew again this week (Matthew 6:25-34) with a hard-to-understand command of Jesus, and as you’ve probably come to expect, it’s way easier said than done.  Once more, please pray that we listen carefully this Sunday.

By the way, it’s Palm Sunday this week.  Yes, there will be palms!  No, you can’t hit each other with them.  I’ll see you there, Dr. Dave
