This Sunday's Worship Materials can be found in the "Featured Sermon" below. We meet in person at Harper Park Middle School, and the service is also livestreamed on our YouTube channel.

Heart Prep for Sunday, April 28th

We will be in Matthew again this Sunday, however, we’ll still be out of order.  You see, Wade Baker was scheduled to preach this Sunday, but instead will be preaching on Sunday, May 12th (Mother’s Day) because he’ll have a lot of family in town.  Please keep him in your prayers as he prepares for preaching that day.

Instead, you’ll be stuck with me again.  Try not to look so down, it’ll be fine, I promise.  We’re going to take the time to look at another promise in Matthew 11:25-30 where Jesus promises that those who come to Him will find rest for their souls.  While this is a famous passage about rest (and we all need more of that), it’s a lot more about who Jesus is and why we should come to Him.  We don’t come to Him just to get rest, we come to Him to get Him, and rest is simply a byproduct of being with Jesus.  And anyone can come.

So that’s what we’ll be looking at this week the who, what, where, when, why, and how of coming to Jesus.  And along the way, I’m going to tell you a little bit about my favorite redneck biker.  And to quote myself, “This ought to be interesting.”  See you Sunday, Dr. Dave

PS. Don’t forget about the Spring Social this Sunday afternoon at the Exeter Clubhouse.  It’s supposed to be a beautiful day!  It’s always a good day when our church family has fun together!
