This Sunday, we’re starting a whole new series on the life of Christ. As you may know, the story of Jesus moves with the feel of an epic drama. It’s almost too grand to keep fully in view. This is a story too good … to be too busy … to miss. Each of us needs our life to slow down long enough to savor the Savior’s story. 

We are going to spend the next twelve months going through this story. I’ve entitled this series, Walking with Jesus: A Year with the Savior. Many years ago, I decided that I would preach through one of the gospels every five years, just to remind us what, and who, this is all about. And now, many years later, I’ve preached through all four gospels. So this time, I thought if we just walked through the story of Jesus chronologically, we would get to experience this epic drama of Jesus together, one more time.

And of course, we have to start with Advent. And so this Sunday, we are. I love preaching about the life of Christ. I hope you love hearing about Him just as much. Because this story … is truly epic. See you then, Dr. Dave
