Well, we’ve come to the last message in our summer series on Biblical Priorities called “First Things First.”  [Next up is 1st & 2nd Peter]  And even though it’s last, this command comes to us from Jesus Himself, and that makes it important.  We’ll be looking at “First Love” from The Letter to the Church in Ephesus in Revelation 2:1-7.

But His command doesn’t come first.  Rather, Jesus identifies who’s speaking, then He commends what they do well, He critiques them … “You have abandoned the love you had at first,” and He finishes by counseling them.

So, what is this lost love?  And why is it so important to Jesus?  And what difference does it make to us today?  That’s what we’ll be looking at this Sunday.  I look forward to seeing you there!  Dr. Dave
