We have a special guest this Sunday, Rev. Jegar Chinnavan of First South Asian Indian PCA in Herndon.  Jegar will be preaching on “The Ascension of Christ” from Acts 1:9-11.  Jegar will also be presenting the ongoing work of his church during our Sunday School time.  We have been supporting Jegar and his church for the last several years, because this is a unique ministry in our area (and in the PCA).  Jegar is a powerful preacher and I think you’ll be both challenged and blessed.

We are having something of a missions emphasis this Spring.  We had John & Sandy Supplee in a few weeks ago, Jegar & Jemima Chinnavan this Sunday, on Mother’s Day we’ll have a speaker from Mosaic Pregnancy Care Center sharing during our prayer time, and later in May we’ll have our own Alex Montgomery sharing about Tree of Life Ministries.  On top of all that, we are moving along with the Afghan Refugee Project (we’ll be telling you more about that over the next several weeks and months). 

It's always healthy for a church to look outside of itself, to support and pray for other ministries and churches, and to be willing to share the gospel with those outside of the church.  Let’s be praying to that end … that we have a love for sharing Jesus with others.  Thanks for doing that, I’ll see you on Sunday, Dr. Dave
