Due to me being out of town and Frank coming down with Covid, we have a special guest this Sunday, Rev. Jegar Chinnavan of First South Asian Indian PCA in Herndon.  Jegar will be preaching on “Salvation is Only in Jesus name!” from Acts 4:1-12.  Most of you will remember that Jegar preached at Potomac Hills last April.  It’s good to have him back (and on such short notice)!  We have been supporting Jegar and his church for the last several years, because this is a unique ministry in our area (and in the PCA).  Please give Jegar and Jemima the warmest of welcomes!!

This passage from Acts immediately follows the healing of the crippled man by Peter and John in Acts, chapter 3.  This is the story of their arrest, suffering, and testimony before the Sanhedrin (Ruling Council).  It’s a powerful story and Jegar is a powerful preacher, so I think you’ll be both challenged and blessed.

It's always healthy for a church to look outside of itself, to support and pray for other ministries and churches, and to be willing to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with those outside of the church.  Let’s be praying to that end … that we have a love for sharing Jesus with others.
