At Esther's second banquet for the Xerxes and Haman, she asks the king to spare her people from destruction. The king angrily asks who has targeted her people and she reveals that it is Haman. In a stunning reversal, Haman now has to plead with a Jew for his life, after having sentenced the Jews to be exterminated. As we reflect on the Scriptures that teach us that what we reap we will also sow, let us remember how the grace of God is the ultimate thing in our lives that we don't deserve.
