Heart Prep for Sunday, July 31st
Dear friends,
Katie and I have recently moved to Winchester and we are looking forward to seeing everyone this Sunday! I’ll be exhorting you from Romans 1:8, as we continue the series on “First Things.” This week, we will explore the reasons Paul was thankful for the body of believers in Rome. One of those reasons was they had a reputation worth having, worth talking about. As you prepare your heart for gathering as a body of believers in Leesburg, consider the following:
Why is having a good reputation so important as a church?
What makes up a good reputation for a church?
What makes up a good reputation for a believer?
What is Potomac Hill’s reputation in our community?
What can we do to spread the Gospel in the places we live and work?
Like Paul, I am thankful for the faith God has given to believers. I am thankful for what He is accomplishing through His Church around the world. My prayer for Potomac Hills and believing churches everywhere is that your god-given faith would be proclaimed in all the world. Let’s prayerfully consider how we may be used by Him to glorify Christ and make the Gospel known more widely in Leesburg and beyond.
See you on Sunday!
In His grip,
RE James Murphy
