This Sunday's Worship Materials can be found in the "Featured Sermon" below. We meet in person at Harper Park Middle School, and the service is also livestreamed on our YouTube channel.

Heart Prep for Sunday, July 24th

Hey, this week we’re going to take on another hard-to-understand passage, Mark 13:3-13, which is part of Jesus’ famous Olivet Discourse on the end times.  As you know, we’re in a series on Biblical Priorities called “First Things First,” so how can a passage on the last days show us one of our first priorities?

Well, this passage is about something (the proclamation of the gospel) that’s supposed to happen before the last days end, which is why we’re supposed to do it first, and that’s our topic this Sunday —  “First Proclaim.”

Now, that may raise some questions for some of you …

Well, who’s supposed to proclaim?  All of us.

I thought that was your job?  It is.

Then why do I have to do it?  Because Jesus says so.

When will I have to do it?  When you’re persecuted and hated.

Say What???  Sorry, that’s part of the whole end-times thing.

So we're going to talk about all of this fun stuff (“it doesn’t sound fun”) this Sunday and try to come up with some more complete answers to all the questions.  Should be both helpful and hopeful (at least it will be interesting).

See you there, Dr. Dave

(wear your Hawaiian shirt – I just put that in to see if you’re still reading this).
