This Sunday's Worship Materials can be found in the "Featured Sermon" below. We meet in person at Harper Park Middle School, and the service is also livestreamed on our YouTube channel.

Heart Prep for Sunday, February 28th

I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the beautiful weather of the last couple of days.  After all that snow, it was wonderful to sit out in the sun for a little while this week.  I hope you got the chance to do that.

As you may know, we’re coming up on the one-year anniversary of the pandemic.  And so, starting this Sunday, and continuing for the next few months, we’re going to have a number of people (some in-person, some via video) give a brief testimony during the worship service.  We’ve asked them to speak on the topic of “What has God been teaching you during the pandemic?”  It should be interesting to see what God has been doing in other’s lives over the past year.

This week, we’re continuing our sermon series on The Book of Joshua, “Living Out a Courageous Faith.”  We’re now up to Joshua, chapter 4, and the story of the memorial stones.  When God makes His covenant promises He always keeps them.  And God expects us to remember when He does that, and in remembering His powerful acts, our faith is strengthened.  So, how do we do that today?  What do our memorial stones look like (assuming they’re not actual stones)?  And what should they look like?  Those are some of the questions we’ll be looking at this Sunday.  It should be a great day and I’m looking forward to seeing you there, Dr. Dave
