Happy start of the summer to all Elementary, Middle and High School students! Hope the school year ended well for you and that you have great plans for the summer. One of my kids has already calculated that he/she would be completely inactive (lazy) for 29% of the summer and were hoping that percentage could be higher. While we certainly hope everyone has downtime to rest, remember that summer’s a great time to try new hobbies, catch up on some reading, work on relationship and projects that you don’t have time for with school.
And most people love to travel over the summer. Kath and I have been to a few spectacular mansions in the States – the Hearst Castle in California and the Biltmore in Ashville, NC. I have never seen the Great Pyramids, the Taj Mahal or the palace of Versailles, but someday I’d love to. But the most important structure that was ever built has its blueprints laid out in Exodus chapters 25-27. It’s not the most important structure because of its size or its opulence. It’s the most important because of the reputation of the architect and because of its purpose. Intrigued? I hope so. See you Sunday! -Rev. Dorst
