Well, this week we hit a hugely important passage, Exodus 3:13-15, which is the revelation of God’s Name to Moses. We’re still in a section where Moses is objecting to God’s call on his life. God has told him to go to Pharaoh and bring the children of Israel out of Egypt. And Moses’ first objection was to ask “Who am I” to do this great thing? And now he objects by asking God “Who are you?” And God answers him, but He doesn’t say (as He could have), “Who do you think you are, Moses, asking for My Name? Aren’t you the failure and loser living on the backside of the desert? And aren’t I the all-powerful, miracle producing, Creator God of the universe? Who do you think you are, Moses, to question Me?” We may have said that, but God doesn’t. He answer Moses in a mysterious way that actually reveals more of who He is. Let’s see what that is on Sunday. See you then, Dr. Dave
We’re celebrating the Lord’s Supper this Sunday, and right afterwards, please come to our Fellowship Lunch. You can RSVP on The City!
