Christmas Eve 2014 Homily
Speaker: Rev. Dave Dorst Series: Christmas Eve Services Topic: 1 Passage: Luke 1:1–3:10
Reading through the first two chapters of Luke, an uninformed reader could get the feeling that there were two babies being born to the world who would be equally important for the Lord's plans for the world. But if you read far enough, you realized that one was divine and the other was not. Jesus' full divinity is what sets His birth, life and death apart from every other human being ever born. Even St. Nick knew it, and had a zealous desire to defend the truth it against heresy.
