The end of Genesis chapter 32 happens when Jacob is all alone, preparing for his meeting with his angry brother. A man comes who wrestles all night with him, touches his hip to leave him crippled, and gives him a new name. What are we to make of this narrative, and can we admit when we're really wrestling with God? Remember that if you are going to wrestle with God, you should expected to be changed, but also to have a limp afterwards.
