Genesis 26 is Isaac's chapter. We see his trust in God, his fear of man, God's blessing on his business, enmity with his neighbors and disappointment with his son's marriages. But most importantly, we see the covenant blessings and promises to Abraham being passed down to the second generation. There are a lot of pieces of advice we could pick up from Isaac's life, but maybe the most important thing we learn in this chapter is that we need to be serious about the promises of God being passed down to the next generation.
