Genesis 25 records Abraham's death at the age of 175, as well as the often overlooked details of his remarriage and the birth of six children at a very old age. The passage focuses our attention on how God kept His promises to Abraham, to Isaac the child of promise, and even to Ishmael, the child of Abraham's distrust. We are reminded that God keeps His promises to us as well.
