Critics think that Mary's song of praise to God in Luke 1 is too well-structured, subtle and steeped in Old Testament theology to be the legitimate song of a young peasant girl. But the Holy Spirit's inspiration gave Mary a beautiful song that praised God for who He is and what He has done.
