The Fall of Babylon, Revelation 18
Series: The King’s Triumphant Return - A Series in Revelation Topic: 1 Passage: Revelation 18:1–18:24
This week we're studying Revelation 18, which is a long song/story of the saints rejoicing over the Judgment of God against Babylon. The noted musician (and PCA elder) Michael Card has written about this chapter, "The wealth of detail is meant to paint a picture of everything the Kingdom of God has fought against from the beginning and over which it has now been victorious. The magnitude of her destruction is in inverse proportion to the rejoicing of the saints and must be experienced before the full force of the "Hallelujah!" can be felt." (Unveiled Hope, page 181)
