The Church of Indiscriminate Tolerance, Revelation 2:12-17

Pastor Dave preaches from Revelation 2:12-17 as we continue looking at the Seven Churches; this week we're going to Pergamum.  Pergamum was a strong center of paganism.  Dr. John Stott says, "Here a pitched battle was being fought, in which the combatants were not people but ideas.  The issue was not between good and evil, but between truth and error."

I think that's still true today.  Many of the most important battles being fought in our day and age are in the marketplace of ideas.  We need to make sure that the truth of Jesus Christ is both seen and heard in, through, and from our church.  Easier said than done, I know, but the important things are never easy.
