Messages and a Harvest, Revelation 14:6-20

April 18, 2010 Speaker: Dr. David Silvernail Series: The King’s Triumphant Return - A Series in Revelation

Topic: Sermons Passage: Revelation 14:6–14:13

Pastor Dave preaches from Revelation 14 as we continue to look at how God will deal with the righteous and the unrighteous. It's not an easy passage and sometimes we find ourselves wondering why God is going to do all this. We often need to be reminded that God takes the long term view, not a short-term view like us. Pastor Dave thought it might be helpful in the middle of this difficult book to be reminded about God's long term view.

The Scriptures teach us that His righteousness is said to be everlasting - Psalms 119:142. His covenant is everlasting - Genesis 17:7. His kingdom is everlasting - Psalms 145:13. His mercy is everlasting - Psalms 100:5. His name is everlasting - Isaiah 63:16. His salvation (Pastor Dave is very grateful for this) is everlasting - Isaiah 45:17. His Gospel is everlasting - Revelation 14:6.

In the Scriptures we are constantly being told that God's view of the world, the church, and us is "everlasting."
